Fade To White It's hard to comprehend how people get out alive, Mix some power of will, faith, determination, collide! I'd say it's luck, but I know that luck is created, Want proof? Just check with my 25 years experience making it. Luck contradicts itself when you know you create it But so does government, president, elite, freedom - they're all faking it. We're living in a world of duality and the reality: We're drawn away from the cold, hard, fallacy. Take a couple million years, subtract your fears: You'll get a few steps nearer. You might have a new face but it's the same race, There's no time to waste, so keep a steady pace, spine straight, Turn your eyes up 'til the gain knob lights up, Lids closed, mind open, fade to white, all one. We no longer memorize our lines, We create them with faith and abandon. We no longer identify with lies, We make truth our singular reaction. The weight of the world is calculated in light, In fact the entire universe is just a blip to our bigger sights, And that might give you a fright, or it might give you some insight Into this puzzling mystery: life. We live in the grey area, between super, sub, and unconsciousness, We call it consciousness, it's really ignorance, We think we're real, but we're just dreaming. The significant difference between the insignificant and unprecedented Is the subtle decision made: Don't matter what the facts say, I'll do it now, that's it period. Boom, that's the only way.

State Of The Art Strip off your outer layers, Add a little science to your prayers, Dip in to the critical progression, Give in to the uncompromising question. Thoughts are things, remember what you are. Set your clothes afire, state of the art. Insulated, architectural conviction, All things fade and fulfill their conditions, Yet senior laws make stimulating dynamics, Hit pause. Commit to landing. Thoughts are things, remember what you are. Set your house afire, state of the art. Thoughts are things, remember what you are, Set your clothes afire, state of the art. Thoughts are things, remember what you are, Set your house afire, state of the art. Thoughts are things, remember what you are, Set your limbs afire, state of the art. Thoughts are things, remember what you are, Set your mind afire, state of the art. Remember what you are, State of the art. Thoughts are things, remember who you are. Set your heart afire, state of the art.

Stop 07:19
Stop I've got words to convince, words to confuse, Words to control, words to seduce, Words are my weapon, words of the truth, Words of conviction make the whole world move. I've got words that I lend, and words that I borrow, Words full of joy, words full of sorrow, Words for today, words for tomorrow, Words for my country, words for the world. We gotta stop, Drop and roll. We gotta stop, Just to save our souls. I've seen people wearing smiles instead of clothes, I've seen people going wherever the wind blows, I've seen people call wherever they are their home, We're on our own, but we're not alone. Be grateful for the fresh air that you breathe, and Be grateful for the water that we all need, and Be grateful for the ground beneath your feet, I say thank you. Yes I'm grateful for the words that you say, and I'm grateful for the music that you make, and I'm grateful for today, tomorrow, and yesterday, I'm grateful for The Way. Killing the weeds just to save the flowers, But the poison seeps down and turns our water sour. Dropping bombs just to save our brothers, But we also take the lives of children and their mothers, It's all the same. When the sun goes down, you know the stars'll shine, When the times get rough, we'll just keep on trying, When you feel the rhythm, everything'll rhyme, When you feel the love, the power is your mind. We gotta stop.

Gardens In The Ghetto I'd rather take my chances with the gardens in the ghetto, Than fake, fluorescent food designed in test tubes by Monsanto. It's just unnatural. Light a candle: let the flame burn away the pain, When your thinking's right there's nothing that can touch you anyway. Keep on relentless mental imaging. Yeah, I know it 'cause I feel it, I feel it 'cause I'm kneeling at the feet of this incredible healing. Leaves me reeling at the power of this Being. And I can't even see it, but I can reach it, And so can anyone that'll stop and make believe: State of the art, now here, and hit repeat - Fade to white and dissolve from bass to beat. Light your candle.

Make Believe 09:52
Make Believe I try to think but instead the words are coming out my mouth, I'm full of doubt, brain's just trying to figure it out. I try to act like you and I have been here before, But my palms are sweaty, and I'm edging for the door. They're staring us down with grey eyes of steel, The bills that we show are the cards that we deal, Laughing at our efforts as we're trying to be heard, Because they know that it's designed so what we say becomes our murder. There's a fine line between make believe and reality, "We make you believe what we tell you, it's all you see." Innocence is bliss until it hits you in the face, Wisdom is a choice that every person has to make. Conversations fly by like birds in the wind, As we're trapped in our prisons by our debts and our whims. We think that we're free but we're slaves to the system, Trapped by our own ambition. Everything that you feel is, Everything that is real is. Everything that is real is, Everything that you feel is. You've got two ears and one mouth so use them proportionately, Every time you speak, you're distorting the story. Information is a virus that spreads like wildfire, Everyone want to teach to the prospective buyers. Dig for the roots before you reach for the sky, Because there's nothing in between except lies, and lies, and lies. Everything you think that is real that you feel is. We're born free but we build our own cages, As we grow older, yeah, as we are aging, What is your willingness to accept change? What will you give up to be free again? Thoughts echoing in your mind, verbatim, To the things that you see outside indicating, The way that you feel and the way that you're waiting, For something, it's nothing, your doubt overtaking. We're born free but we build our own cages, As we grow older, yeah, as we are aging, What is your willingness to accept change? What will you give up to be free again? Thoughts echoing in your mind, verbatim, To the things that you see outside indicating, The way that you feel is the way that you're waiting, For something, it's nothing, your doubt overtaking. Everything you think that is real that you feel is.

Now Here 06:47
Now Here I see waves within the earth, Restraint gives way to birth, A new found energy. You have shut your inner eye, Thought industrialized, Your unknown enemy. Dystopia is deaf, Along with all the rest. Incognito, omnipresent, clear. For too long nowhere, Now tune your ears, To the hum of silence, Infinite in guidance. Now here. Death is a part of life, but remember, Life is also a part of death. Trying to intimidate our souls, make us surrender, But they can't conquer without consciousness. Bring forth that for which you're striving with will, All you've got to do is hold still. Always looking for the perfect time, perfect place, But it's nowhere - flip it - now here; break! What's the use of bulging muscles when you're underground? What's the use of bulging pockets when you're time's run out? We've only got a short time living, you've got to learn a little more about giving. Or else you keep coming back, do it again again again again again... Listen in to high definition sound, starts with nothing, then gets loud, All consuming, none rebuking, all-inclusive, all that's left is beauty. Then you realize that nothing has changed, except for your mind-state, rearranged. Listen to the words as they come from the mic, Listen to the words as they come from the light, Listen to the words as they come from the mic, Peace through music, om, light.

about

The OM Sound Montreal, Québec

Redefining the term “power trio,” The OM Sound sounds more like a hip-hop orchestra than a three piece band. Empowering vocals meet complex grooves, from neo-soul to jazz-funk, all inspired by their conscious message. The OM Sound: relentlessly awakening. ... more
